Fairytale Dreams

I found these photos and thought the dresses were just gorgeous. If I lived in a fairytale I would definitely be wearing them to some grand ball. I would win over prince charming{insert hot celebrity guy} and live happily ever after...but that's just fairytale dreaming. Speaking of dreams....I had a pretty good one last night (can't tell cause it might not come true). If you lived in a fairytale who would be your prince charming?

I bought a MacBook Pro today.  So exciting because I've always wanted an Apple.  I'm considering it a late birthday present.  Anyway it was a good end to a nice weekend ;)  These were just some pics I took off of the web cam...having fun with the different effects.  I love my Margaritaville shirt in this pic, I got it in Las Vegas.

                                                                  

Dancing Shoes

Happy Friday everyone!!! First of all I have to say R.I.P. Michael Jackson. Thanks for all the great music. There have been a few nights when my feet have hurt so bad but something like Thriller or Beat It came on and I just had to get myself back on the dance floor. Good times, but there will always be more to come. Music lives on forever. So put on your dancing shoes and live in the moment.

Free

I just paid off my credit card. It feels so good...I am now free of debt. Pretty awesome way to kick off summer right? No stress, no worries and I'm not about to fall back into that problem again. So of course I pulled out the scissors and my card was happily cut into tiny bits and pieces :)

Hello Sunshine

I really love the way photographer Candace Meyer uses the natural sunlight in her pictures. They look absolutely gorgeous. Don't you think? I really like the one of the girl in the bedroom with the sequin dress...you can see the reflection of the sequins on the wall. Beautiful. Blue + Glitter

Love this...it reminded me of a few nights ago. My sisters and I went for a late night swim...completely relaxing. I just floated on my back, listened to myself breath, and looked up at the stars. I've always loved swimming...the ocean...when I was a kid I wanted to be a mermaid. Funny, I know. Anyway I'm wishing for a few more nights like these. I always end up doing the title of my postings last and funny but I just noticed my nails are dark blue with a bit of glitter. Reminds me of the pic.

Dancing Queen

Just got an email today that Sheryl Murakami would be doing a workshop at the dance studio I go to on Saturday.  I'm so torn apart because I'm actually going to be out of town this weekend :(

I have to tell you that she is amazing...I absolutely love, love, love her.  I've taken a workshop from her once and it was the most fun I've ever had while dancing.  She teaches at the Broadway Dance Center so I'm completely jealous of the lucky ones who live in New York City.  I'm crossing my fingers that she will come back sometime soon.  This is a video of the dance she taught us the day I took her workshop.

It Gets Better

Well today got off to a not so pretty start. I usually am good about waking up with the alarm clock, but I don't know what happened this morning...I woke up 5 till I was suppose to be at work!!! After a quick phone call to say I would be late, I managed to get ready in a hectic 5 minutes only to be greeted by an overload of work, attitudes, and stress. I was not in the mood for any of it today. But the day started to get better, I just had to step back in breath.

Here are some of my quick fixes to a stressful/bad day.

Love this look...

I've been in love with Hilary's style in this video ever since I saw it a few months back. It's for her song "Reach Out", which happens to be a fun song to dance to! The style is so pretty but classy and sexy all at the same time. Love it!!

Black and white always look so classic together, I especially like the necklace.

The top hat is such a nice touch to this dress it just adds that extra fun something.

This dress reminds me of a fairytale. A hot guy to hold onto is always nice and I love the color of the wall.
I love this ring and her makeup is gorgeous.
I like how simple but pretty this dress is.
