California Girl

with work being so busy, i definitely feel like i'm due for a vacation

last year i went to california with my parents and sister

i love,love,love the beach

we stayed at the hollywood roosevelt...so much fun

the weather was beautiful there...can't say i missed the texas sun burning my back

miss this place so much...can't wait to go back

Remember Heather's? It's been such a long time since I've seen that movie. I played a few games of croquet yesterday...so much fun. Can't say I'm quite as mean as Heather Chandler but I do get pretty competitve. Anyway I won a game!! Had a great weekend...nice and relaxing.

Out with the old...

Kinda feel like doing something different with myself.

Wearing red lipstick sounds like a fun change that's not too drastic, besides my glossed lips are getting boring.

So Excited!!

My birthday is tomorrow! I'm turning 23 and having a backyard party with family and friends. Should be lots of fun and the best part is my sister is flying in from Virginia. I get to meet the newest member of our family, my one month old niece Isabella. Best present ever!!



My sisters threw me a surprise party when I turned 21. I love this cake.



This is last year's cake...mom made this one.


The ladies I work with decorated my desk today. I really love how they put the ribbon streamers on my bulletin board.

So Girly

My sister has been building a house recently and just finished decorating my niece's bedroom. I think it is so fun and girly. Just look at all those dress up clothes and trust me that's only a few of them. I love the green dresser with the pink knobs...so pretty. The perfect bedroom for any little girl.

My favorite part of her space is the love seat...and the big windows...and the size of her inspiration board!!

Flamenco Dancer

When I was younger my parents loved to take trips to San Antonio during the Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Ever since I was a little girl my favorite part was the flamenco dancers. I wanted to be one so bad, or at least own one of the dresses! Everything about them was beautiful, the dance, the dress (all the pretty colors and ruffles),and of course the girls.
